Worden Farm has added new products for the Organic Market which
returns to Fishermen’s Village Center Court, November 5th, 2008
and continues through April 29th, 2009. The newly created
GREENMARKET will operate 9:30 am - 1:30 pm every Wednesday at
Fishermen’s Village Waterfront Mall, Resort & Marina.
In addition to the Worden Farm certified-organic fruits,
vegetables, herbs, and flowers, new products will include seafood
from Andy’s Island Seafood of Matlacha, jellies and preserves from
Paradise Gardens of Pine Island, cheeses from 55 Degrees Cool
Wine & Cheese of Fort Myers and breads from Artisan Bread
Company of Fort Myers. Worden Farm is very excited to bring these
three new product categories of top quality and locally produced
food to their thousands of customers who supported the first
Organic Market when it opened at Fishermen’s Village December of
2007.
Fishermen’s Village General Manager, Patti Allen and Marketing
Director, Kathy Burnam recently commented “We are thrilled to be
working with Worden Farm. The quality and selection of the
harvest they bring to the Village for our community to enjoy has
produced accolades from shoppers and visitors near and far! The
addition of the new products for the ’08-’09 season will make this
