Tatsoi is a wonderful, versatile Asian
green, and is also known as “Asian
spinach”. It can be used raw or
cooked. Tatsoi substitutes well for
spinach in any recipe, from sautés to
quiches to dips or used raw in salads or
on sandwiches. It has a mild yet rich
green flavor, and is packed with good
nutrients. Tatsoi is a member of the
Brassica or cruciferous family of plants,
known for its healthful properties.
